Dear distinguished seniors and fellow Adicoans, it is of an indisputable fact, of our common knowledge of the prevailing happening across the globe including our dear Country Nigeria regarding the undesirable COVID19 currently holding the entire world to ransome.
It is indeed of more concern that this unforeseeable phenomenon now clashed with our 50th anniversary scheduled for next week 26th-28th of March 2020, to which most of us have and still express concern on whether or not we should go ahead to hold our anniversary as scheduled.
The situation further got escalated by the state of uncertainty created by Government's response to the unholy situation, shutting down of schools and restricting of gathering of people above 50. Indeed our anniversary's gathering exceed this figure.
The Anniversary Planning Committee have sensitively considered the situation with special emphasis on safety of members and in compliance with Government policy and directive.
In view of the above, the duty to act in the interest of our dear members becomes inevitable.
We therefore, wish to, with deepest regret but for our common good to announce the postponement of our much expected anniversary as scheduled to a further date to be announced as soon as possible.
We hope that the situation through divine intervention is brought under control and our safety, health wise becomes restored.
We thank you all for your trust and confidence reposed on us as we look forward to serving you better.
